Creativity: Aspects and Importance
This paper encompasses research from several sources on the importance of creativity in the classroom. I have found throughout the program that creativity and intrinsic motivation in the classroom is important to encourage learning, stifle apathy, and to get student's passionate about being in the classroom. Dr. Ken Robinson speaks about the public education system and what the standardized system is doing to the education system. Whether you agree or disagree, his argument is compelling. I made a blog post that I attached a video that contains part of one of Dr. Robinson's speeches. You can see the video and read the post HERE.

Lesson Plans:
Lesson plans in this section are written in a format to that represents different teaching methodologies and different curriculum approaches. The lesson plan I found more difficult to write was the specialized content lesson plan. As professionals, it is sometimes hard to remember that we need to get down to the basics so our students can grasp the whole picture. I found it harder, yet eye opening to start from the most basic point and to write out a plan for that piece of special content. I believe that starting like this though, give students a much better chance at success, and it elevates our expectations for our students as well.
